Group Swim Lessons

Time: 5:30-6 & 6:10-6:40 pm.

Warm Pool Family Times
Fridays -4:00-6:45pm
Saturdays -1:00-3:45pm
Sundays -1:15-3:45pm

Kids under age 18 MUST be with a parent or adult in the water at all times. Lifeguards MUST enforce all pool rules. Families not following the pool rules will not be allowed to return to the warm pool. Members are asked to make our Aquatic Director Tom Kitchens aware of any problems. ALL pool users are asked to respect each others personal space in the pool.

Aqua-Tone
Days:   Monday, Wednesday
Time:   6:00 pm to 7:00pm
Cost:   Free to YMCA members
$35.00 per month for non-members

The Aqua-Tone class is ideal for those looking for a high intensity water workout with the intent to burn calories, improve cardiovascular fitness and increase muscle tone.  Class includes 60 minutes of shallow water cardio work and deep water aerobics that emphasizes muscle isolation.  Aerobic belts, barbells and noodles will be used to supplement the exercises.  Equipment is provided by the YMCA.

Classes are on-going each month.  You may sign up at the Service Desk.  For more information on this or any other program please call the YMCA at 827-9622. 

The Henderson County Family YMCA is happy to announce that our Aquatics department is once again offering private swim lessons to people of all ages.

Each lesson is 1/2 an hour long and is conducted one-on-one with a trained instructor. A minimum of four (4) lessons must be purchased at one time. Lesson times are scheduled to fit your needs, with instruction available during the day or evening hours or weekends.  The cost for four (4) lessons is $50 for YMCA members and $60 for non-members.
